What is Patamu Cloud?
Patamu Cloud is a web platform which allows creative authors to publish and share their works safely. Patamu Cloud is a perfect place for all creatives to showcase their previously protected work.
What types of work I can upload on Patamu Cloud?
On Patamu Cloud you can upload and share any creative work. You will find categories for different work types. Also you can add new category type you think your work belongs to. You can showcase anything that can be subject to copyright, author’s rights and intellectual property rights. In case of doubt, you can contact us.
Are there limits for uploading a work file on Patamu Cloud?
You can upload file not more than 500MB size. All Cloud users got 1 GB of total free space. You can upload as many works as you want respecting the total free space reserved for a single user.
Is my work automatically protected after upload on Patamu Cloud?
Your work is not automatically protected after you upload work file on Patamu Cloud. Once upload is finished you can decide: either to keep unprotected work on platform, or either to protect it through Patamu platform, where you can generate a proof of evidence for any creative work.
Do I need to protect works I upload on Patamu Cloud?
There is no obligation toward protection status of work on Patamu Cloud. Although we firmly recommend you to protect your works through patamu.com.
How can I share my works or profile page from Patamu Cloud?
There are multiple ways to share your profile and work page on Patamu Cloud. You can do social share with Twitter and Facebook share buttons. There are also options for you to share work or profile page with copying or downloading corresponding link. Let your works gain visibility and let them to be known in the world.
What is cover image and how I can add it to my work?
Cover image is every image you decide to use for preview of your work and is not necessarily an image of the work. By default works don’t have cover image after upload process. Go to “My Works” > then select the work from list of works > “EDIT” > “SELECT WORK IMAGE” . After you finish cover image will appear on profile page.
What is the best size for cover image?
Cover image is cropped to a square of 800*800px and we recommend you to upload cover images in square format. Although you can still upload any format size you want, but keep in mind that it will be automatically cropped to square.
How can I import works from Patamu to Patamu Cloud?
Importing works from Patamu is easy, you can do it from “My works” > “IMPORT WORKS” > “RUN SEARCH ON PATAMU” > and by selecting works you can add them to Patamu Cloud database. Don’t forget to add cover image to imported works.
How can I allow download off my work on Patamu Cloud?
You can allow download of your work file by going to “Edit work” page and checking the option "Downloadable". You as an author keep all the rights on the deposited works, and you can use and diffuse your work file options as you prefer.
